Am receiving 10107 error when performing step 4 above (admin cmd prompt & trying to execute “netsh winsock reset”). No error message when performing “netsh int ip reset”.

Thank you for this post!
I have spent hours doing Microsoft’s ‘fix’ over and over, doing a system restore, etc.
But you are 100% correct - it was a scanned PDF that was trying to print out (and I’m stooopid because I kept using that PDF as the test document to print after restarting!).
Seriously - thank you so much. I was literally minutes away from moving all my files to another PC so I can continue working!
